Looking to form a free group of serious piano players, preferred mid-to advanced level. Goal is to get together at group members ' homes, each of us should play/perform something. Alternately, we could hold special lectures during our regular meetings that might be of interest ( e.g. analysis of a specific piece of music; history of jazz; stride piano playing; ....endless possibilities). Age group should be 20- to who knows, m/f. Playing stuff on two pianos also a possibility. The idea is to just get together with fun, musically-inclined people who enjoy playing piano. Please be real, no scammers, no commercial entrapment of any sort.... Initial contact via CL, e-mail, or phone. Once we have a group of interested people, we can decide what date/schedules are best, where to meet first , etc.
