Make a difference! Become a foster parent! Join Service Alternatives for our monthly Virtual Foster Parent Information Session on Wednesday, January 28th at 6 pm. We will discuss foster parenting with our agency, the support we provide and the licensing process. *** Send an email and ask for the registration link for the information session you'd like to attend *** Service Alternatives contracts with the state of Washington to license foster homes and provide support to our foster families and the children they care for. We primarily license treatment foster homes for children between the ages of 6 and 18 years old, in Washington state, who need some additional support in order to be successful. We wrap an excellent level of support around our foster homes which includes: * A licenser to guide you through the licensing process * Monthly financial reimbursement: $3014 * Regular staff support to help children work on goals and learn new skills * 24/7 crisis support as needed * Case Management support * monthly respite if desired * a team approach * Free trainings and monthly foster parent meetings for support and networking Licensing, including trainings, is free! Foster parents care for children full time or provide respite care. Respite foster care is a great way to get started and is reimbursed at $100 per day. We hope you'll join us!
