## Volunteer Horse Program Help Wanted ### Hands-On Horse Internship (Broken Arrow)
Are you interested in horses but not sure where to begin? We are starting two unique horse-centered programs in the Tulsa area and are looking for a few dependable volunteers who want to learn, help, and grow with us. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves horses, wants hands-on experience, enjoys helping people, and may be interested in turning that experience into a future paid role. ### About the Programs We are developing a **Horse Foster Program** designed for people who may not be able to own a horse but still want the chance to connect, learn, and spend meaningful time around horses. We are also developing a **Women’s Horse Connection Seminar**, created especially for women who may be timid, unsure, recovering from stress or life challenges, or simply looking for a peaceful way to reconnect with themselves through horses. These programs are built around safety, confidence, learning, kindness, and real connection with horses. ### What Volunteers May Help With Volunteers may assist with: Helping prepare horses for beginner visits Assisting during horse connection events Helping with basic barn and horse care Greeting guests and helping them feel welcome Taking photos or short videos for promotion Helping with horse sponsor programs Assisting with foster horse visits Helping organize women’s seminars and small events Learning how beginner horse programs are operated Possibly helping with advertising, social media, and event setup No heavy experience is required, but good common sense, kindness, and dependability matter. ### This Could Become More Than Volunteering For the right person, this could become a **hands-on horse internship**. You could learn about: Horse handling Beginner horse safety Event management Horse sponsorship programs Customer care Horse-based educational programs Small horse business development Marketing and promotion As the programs grow, this could easily advance into a **part-time paid role** for the right person. ### Who This Is Best For This may be a good fit if you are: Interested in horses Patient and kind with people Comfortable around beginners Willing to learn Dependable and honest Good with women, young people, or families Interested in horse events or horse education Looking for meaningful experience instead of just a regular volunteer job This is not a high-pressure rodeo or performance horse program. This is about gentle horses, beginner learning, emotional connection, confidence, and creating a safe place for people to experience horses. ### Location Tulsa / Broken Arrow / Exact details will be shared with serious applicants. ### How to Respond Please reply with: Your name Your phone number Any horse experience you have, if any Why this program interests you Your general availability Whether you are interested in volunteering, internship experience, or possible future paid work We are looking for a few good-hearted people who want to help build something meaningful from the ground up. If you love horses and like the idea of helping people discover them in a safe, simple, life-giving way, this may be the perfect place to start.
