LIVE MUSIC at 11am Talented Folk Musician Saguaro Soland will be playing a set of traditional and original protest songs and folk music to help set the vibe for our new spot! He played a show on our patio back at the start of summer and we knew we had to have him back! ROMANCE BOOK TRUCK from 10am-3pm The supremely adorable Book Boutique, Tucson's one and only book truck, will be pulling up in front of the store to satisfy your romance novel sweet tooth! We accidentally scheduled our grand reopening on Bookstore Romance Day 6 but we don't want to detract from our fellow booksellers who have more of a romance focus than we do, so we asked The Book Boutique to come celebrate alongside us! LIVE BLOCK PRINTING MERCH from 10am-1pm Due to popular demand, we're bringing back our Live Block Printing Merch table from Indie Bookstore Day! Our resident artist, Zach, will be up-cycling any t-shirt / tote bag / bandana/ etc that you bring! For $15, get our hand-carved logo stamp on your item FACE PAINTING FOR ALL AGES from 11am-2pm The lovely Rose's Dream Palette will be in the store for some fun face painting. Rose has a wide repertoire from kiddos' favorite characters to flourishing flowers! (l absolutely loved the star freckles she did for me at one of our past events!) And of course the bookstore itself will be open regular hours of 10am-6pm.
