Hey, I’m relaunching my 1950s, surf, and doo-wop band. The songs have been interpreted by me through a very light punk metal overtone modernizing them slightly, opening up the type of venues we could play at or bands we could open for.. Of course we can play the songs more traditional if we’re offered a gig and that’s what they’re asking, for but our standard modus operandi, is to play a rocken exciting fast paced show. That includes humor and hopefully the crowd dancing and enjoying themselves. I’m looking for two members, one of which is a Drummer most importantly. It would be helpful if you knew how to possibly do some basic keyboards or whatever. The second person on Bass preferably would be a multi-instrumentalist who could also plunk on some keys. If both members could play drums and play, bass and play other instruments, you could switch up as much as you wanted, and while. I am the guitarist I wouldn’t be against switching and playing bass on a song It would be cool if we all shared vocal duties in basic harmonies as I am extremely mediocre, but in my old lineup, we came up with a nice way of Layering things together and it sounded fun So that’s it. I’m looking for two members. I personally do not have a practice space though if we can’t find one , it’s possible across the street from my house somebody that might rent out their garage for next to nothing. ASAP because it’s the summer right now and we wanna try to get in any shows we can pick up since it is the last moment
