A group of musicians from around the Twin Cities--2 Guitarists/Keyboard player/Lead Vocalist are reorganizing their band and are looking for a Bass player and Drummer. Our eclectic setlist will feature melodic, guitar-driven songs of the 70s through the present taken from the rock, blues, alt-/traditional country, Brit Pop, 80s/90s/early 2000s alternative and Latin/Tex-Mex genres. Having lead and/or backing vocal ability would be a bonus, as the intent of the band is to have multiple vocalists to create solid harmonies. Practices will take place at a climate-controlled, rented space in Fridley that is conveniently located a few blocks north of I-694. We'll begin working on songs from our list as soon as we add a rhythm section to our lineup. The goal will be to have 40-60(?) songs learned within 3-6 months before we pursue any live, paid performances. And lastly, as this is a new band with a months long ramp-up process, we're looking for musicians who can be patient & commit to that process. To wit, experienced jobbers probably wouldn't be a good fit whereas younger, less experienced musicians may be. Thank you.
