Lead guitar and bass needed, original and tribute
LOOKING FOR: GUITARIST(S) & BASSIST — Heavy Original Rock + National Touring Tribute
We are putting together ONE band for two major projects: a serious original act and a full-scale, touring tribute show.
We need the right musicians who can handle both sides of the coin.
THE LINEUP:
Singer/guitarist (me) and drummer are already set, locked in, and rehearsing.
We are actively looking for a bassist and guitarist(s) to complete the team.
PROJECT ONE (Original Band):
Hard rock and dark acoustic rock blending '90s grunge with '80s hair metal. Think Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, AIC, Guns N' Roses, and Poison with a strong singer/songwriter feel. Soaring guitars and melodic dark harmonies. This is ready to go—I have a complete catalog of finished demos for at least a couple full albums.
We are starting with real material ready to be recorded and played live, and your creative input is highly encouraged.
PROJECT TWO (The Tribute):
Either A high-caliber Pearl Jam tribute, or general '90s rock tribute (based on the final lineup) aimed directly at casinos, fairs, festivals, and major concert halls. Built to tour regionally and nationally, focused on a real visual show and professional presentation.
THE PLAN:
The tribute band serves as the engine to put us in front of huge national audiences. The original music rides shotgun to capitalize on it:
Opening slots or encore performances at tribute shows when applicable.
Direct stage plugs during tribute sets to drive the crowd to our original music.
Dropping an original track right into the tribute encore.
Pitching the original act to venues for opening slots or consecutive-night bookings.
On the local level, we’ll gear the original band toward regional clubs and opening for national acts.
TWO bands, TWO separate websites, TWO social media identities—run simultaneously and cross-promoting each other.
WHO WE NEED:Bassist and guitarist(s), preferably 30s to 50s, with proven stage/studio experience and a professional rock look.
Top-tier, reliable, gig-ready equipment.
Willing to travel 300 to 400 miles regionally, and nationally as the tour calendar requires.
Pro attitude: dependable, prepared, easy to work with, and dedicated to the material.
Capable of learning an exact, note-for-note tribute set while composing, recording, and performing originals.
Musicians aiming higher than the local dive bar circuit—this is built for festivals and concert halls, serving as a professional money-maker to fund and to promote the original project.
Everything is in place: singer, drummer, a couple albums' worth of finished demos, and a clear dual-brand strategy.
If you have the experience and want in on a project with a real catalog and a plan to play large shows, promote an original band nationally, make money, travel….. reach out.
