The Neuroscape Center in the Department of Neurology at the University of California is recruiting older adult participants (aged 60-85 years) for the BIDCore Study. The BIDCore (Behavorial Intervention Development Core) Study, is a remote study that examines the impact of digital interventions on cognitive skills like attention and memory. The study is hosted on Nexus, our online research training platform, and will take place entirely from your home. The BIDCore Study uses an adaptive, iPad-based digital intervention to target cognitive skills in an engaging way. Participation Requirements: The total active time in the study is 24 hours over a period of 9 weeks. 1. Pre-Measures: 2 hours of web or app-based cognitive assessments 2. Intervention: 20 hours of iPad-based digital training, 25-45 minutes of training per day, 5 days per week, for 8 weeks 3. Post-Measures: 2 hours of web or app-based cognitive assessments 4. Six-Month Follow Up: 2 hours of web or app-based cognitive assessments Participation will be entirely remote. Eligibility: - Ages 60-85 years - Minimum of 12 years of education - English fluency - Normal or corrected-to-normal vision - Normal or corrected-to-normal hearing Exclusions: - No neurological or psychiatric disorders - Must not have 10 or more years of music training - Must not play a musical instrument consistently (once per week or more) within the last year Participants will be shipped an iPad 10th Generation tablet to participate in the study and may keep the tablet (valued at $320) after completing all study tasks.
